Sedalia, NC -- It was a free day of fun and heritage at the Charlotte Hawkins Brown Museum in the Guilford County town of Sedalia, Saturday.
The Museum invited local artists, musicians, dancers and writers to come in and share local experiences and stories. There were also numerous vendors set up with pictures and gifts depicting earlier life in Guilford County for blacks.
WFMY News 2's Carol Andrews was among the day's presenters.
We spoke to visitors who called the day a great opportunity to learn and soak up culture.
The Charlotte Hawkins Brown Museum is part of the North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources, dedicated to promoting and protecting the state's art history and culture.
