Greensboro, NC -- There are 36 Jack Russell Terriers cooling their paws at a local Pet Spa, hoping to trade in the pampering for a permanent home.

The American Kennel Club registered dogs were rescued by the group: Finding Great Homes For Jack Russell Terriers, from Pinetown, NC. The group has coordinated with The Humane Society of the Piedmont, Dog Days Pet Spa and Planned Pethood for this effort.

People who are interested in the dogs can see them on line by clicking here. For an online application, click here.

The adoption fee is $150.00 per dog which will be donated to provide future care for rescuing more Jack Russell Terriers. Over the next few days, the dogs will be spay and neutered, updated on their shots, and microchipped.

The group hopes to get all the animals adopted out by the end of business on Thursday.

If you'd like to see the dogs to make the choice of which one you'd like to take home, you can visit "Dog Days" which is on 705 Battleground Avenue in Greensboro. They'll be there everyday, except Wednesday this week.
