Trinity, NC -- Randolph County deputies now have seven people in custody for their involvement in a shooting and stabbing case.
Toby McDowell was shot and Clayton Kindley was stabbed multiple times. Both were transported to Baptist Hospital.
Officers arrested Dustin Gray Gordon earlier in the week. Then, on Friday, they arrested six additional people:
All seven have been charged with two counts of attempted first degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon, burglary and impersonating an officer.
Sheriff Maynard Reid wouldn't give any details as to why they are being charged with impersonating an officer, but did confirm all of the suspects were thought to be present at the incident on Jim Pierce Road Monday evening.
