
Winston-Salem, NC -- According to the North Carolina Department of Commerce, Dell has repaid two grants.
The two Job Development Investment Grants were issued in 2006 and 2007. A third grant was approved for 2008 but never given to the company.
The first grant, worth $567,000, and the second, worth $945,000, were both repaid in full.
Dell has been ordered to repay more than $26 million in incentives on city, county and state levels after announcing plans to close their Union Cross Road plant by the beginning of the year.
