Recall: Canned Chili Not 'Gluten Free' As Labeled

Washington, DC -- An Iowa firm is recalling cases of their chili distributed in North Carolina in the past two months.

Pinnacle Food Group LLC is recalling more than 91,000 pound of canned chili after they realized the product contained wheat, but the label said "Gluten Free".

The "ARMOUR Chili with Bean, Original" was sold in cases of six 15-ounce cans from August 26 through October 28.

The cases were sold at retail stores in several states, including North Carolina.
