Greensboro, NC -- What does your kid want to be when they grow up?
They can get a jumpstart at a Career Exploration Fair TODAY aimed at middle and high schoolers. Karen Meadows from Guilford County Schools and Grimsley High School student Rachel Gentry joined us this morning.
85 Companies will be at the fair tonight, giving kids an idea of what classes to take, internships to do and what certain careers entail.
Rachel said last year's fair helped her figure out she wanted to do something in the medical field. Knowing that, she is going to make sure her high school classes give her what she needs to make the transition to college.
The Guilford County Schools Career Exploration Fair is from 4pm to 7:30pm at the Greensboro Coliseum Special Events Center. This is for middle and high school students...and parents too! The fair is free, but all students are asked to bring a canned good for local food pantries.
