High Point, NC-- Police charged three students in connection with a shooting and robbery in High Point Wednesday morning.
Antonio Del Rio Gutierrez,17, Robert Emmanuel Napper,17 and Gregory Lemar Stephenson,18 are all students at Southwest Guilford High School. Police say they are responsible for a robbery and shooting at Skeet Club Grocery around 11am on Wednesday.
The store clerk, Waqar Gilani, 23, was shot twice during the robbery. EMS transported him to Moses Cone Hospital where he underwent surgery. The clerk was the only person in the store at the time of the robbery.
The three suspects are charged with
- Attempted Murder
- Assault with a Deadly Weapon with the Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury
- Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon
They are in Guilford County Jail under $400,000.00 bond.
