Greensboro, NC -- A teen pop star is mourning the loss of a friend who died on the way to Greensboro this morning.
One of Miley Cyrus's tour buses overturned in Dinwiddie County Virginia, and the driver was killed.
Cyrus was not on board.
The bus was headed to Greensboro Coliseum for Sunday night's concert.
The concert is still on according to Miley Cyrus's publicist. She emailed us saying the concert is on.
But that doesn't change the sadness ticketholders feel for the loss of someone close to the tour.
In the midst of grabbing the remaining tickets for Miley mania Sunday night, some fans in line at the coliseum did not know about the tour bus crash.
Fans we talked to weren't worried about whether the show would go on - - their thoughts were on the person who died.
"I will be praying for them. I will. I know it's hard to have a car crash and have anyone injured or lost. I'm so sorry for their loss. I mean that's just unbearable. Whether it's her or anybody of the crew," expressed Sharon Striblin upon hearing the news while in line for tickets.
Coliseum managers alos say the concert is on schedule as planned.
But if that changes - - they will notify ticketholders.
