Oxford, MS -- According to the Associated Press, Ku Klux Klansmen say they will have a protest at the football game this Saturday between Mississippi State and LSU.
The Grand titan Shane Tate of Tupelo says members of the KKK have expressed unhappiness because the Ole Miss Chancellor told the band to drop a pep song.
The song has been a tradition at Ole Miss, but the Chancellor feels there is an issue cause during the pep song fans chant "the South will rise again."
The Dean of Students of the University says the Klan will be allowed to protest for an hour starting at 10 am. That is four hours before the kickoff between Old Miss and LSU.
Students plan to counter-protest wearing shirts that say, "Turn Your Back on Hate."
