Winston-Salem, NC -- Some have turkey, some have lamb. That was the message from some Wake Forest students Monday. They were celebrating both Thanksgiving, and the Islamic tradition of the Feast of the Sacrifice or Eid-Ul-Adha. This year the Feast of Sacrifice falls just after Thanksgiving. The feast is celebrated after the Hajj, the annual pilgrimage to Mecca. Students say both traditions are about getting together with your family and friends to share food. Leftover food will go to local organizations to feed the hungry.
