Reidsville, NC -- You can be a hero to pets that need a home this Christmas.
The Carolina Veterinary Assistance and Adoption Group in Reidsville is sponsoring a Tree Of Life For Pets. It's set up at the Backstreet Buzz Coffee House on SW Market St. You can take an ornament from the tree with a pet's picture on the front, make a donation and send it to the adoption group. The money will help animals in local shelters find new homes. "We have a rescued animal ourselves that we have had for 11 years now, so we kind of felt like it was a way for us to give back to an organization that helped us out," said Co-owner of Backstreet Buzz David Glick. The Tree Of Life For Pets will be up through the holidays, and you can also sign up to sponsor a pet.
