Undated -- They are the items we want, at the prices we could do without.

Cars, furniture, and high-tech TVs.

So we've tracked down three pro's who can help you get the most bang for your hard earned dollar.

And we're starting with cars. So first things first, before you even show-up at the dealership you're going to need to know your credit score.

Dale Ozment with Bob Dunn Ford says that?s so ?You know you are qualified to buy a car, unless you plan on paying cash."

And, never take the sticker price, because. "I think everything is negotiable," says Ozment. When buying a new or used car you can count on getting the best deal in person, but you can do your homework online.

Sites like the http://www.nada.com/ will give you pricing for any make or model out there so you'll know what to pay.

And remember; take it slow before buying that fast car. Ozment says, "If you come in and you got to have it right then, you see the price, and you may have paid too much."

Impulse spending can also apply to our next item, a TV. TV buying expert Connie Book says, "The number one mistake people make when they buy a TV set is that they over buy.? For the size of their room and their budget.

So, keep in mind, ?Bigger is not always better." And, negotiating the price of that plasma won't get you very far, Book explains, ?Whatever the ticket price is that is what the price is going to be."

But there are a couple of ways to make sure you're getting the best deal for what you want. First, ?The internet might be a good source for people who want to do some comparison shopping,? points out Book. And second, once you've found what you want, find a coupon or ad, even if it's for a different store.

Book suggests, ?If you can bring them a coupon from best buy at Circuit City they may be willing to match the best buy price."

And don't forget to check on your financing options. Different plans could help you get that TV you want without stretching your budget.

This will leave room for that new sofa to watch that big screen from, which brings us to furniture.

We found out, location is very important. Jason Harris with Furniture Land South explains, "I think one of the advantages people in the Triad have is that they live in the furniture capital of the world."

Making all that competition good for your wallet, but there are also other ways to save, like biding low for a bargain.

Harris says, "I think with any big ticket purchase there always seems to be some negotiating room."

And the time of year you shop is also important. "It?s always good to know when retailers are offering special sales." This is good for people shopping for those special pieces. But if you just want a good deal. Shop after furniture market in May and November.

Harris explains why, "We go in and buy a tremendous amount of samples from those markets and we buy them at substantial discounts and we bring those in here and pass those savings on to our consumers."

And when you look at all the saving, spending less, has never felt so good.
