
Greensboro, NC -- Nine people face charges, after a protest at an Army recruitment station Thursday.
Four people who say they are homosexuals went to the center on Merritt Drive in Greensboro to try to enlist in the Army as a protest to the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy on sexual orientation.
During the enlistment process they refused to comply with the Army's policy for enlistment and their enlistment was denied.
They informed other protestors waiting outside, who then came inside the station.
Military leaders and police directed the demonstrators out of the office, and arrested nine of them who refused to leave.
The following people are charged with Second Degree Trespassing and were granted release on a written promise to appear in court:
