Greensboro, NC -- Some consider it art. But most see graffiti as an eyesore and a sign of danger.
And that impression could scare away business owners.
Volunteers painted over dozens of graffiti markings all over Greensboro.
It's part of the annual graffiti cleanup organized by the Greensboro Merchants' Association.
Business owners want to eliminate all of it to show Greensboro as a friendly place to work.
Volunteers focused their efforts on graffiti that is not gang-related.
The police department is in charge of cleaning up gang markings.
