Winston-Salem, NC -- Five Winston-Salem letter carriers are getting recognized for their time on the streets.
Each carrier drove one million miles without a preventable crash.
The five carriers are now members of the National Safety Council's "Million Mile Club."
Carriers in the club average 30 miles a day over 30 years.
The post master says it's rare for five people to get the award at the same time.
11 Winston-Salem letter carriers joined the Million Mile Club last year.
