Greensboro, NC -- WFMY News 2 acquired search warrants detailing the case of a former Guilford County drama teacher who is accused of having a sexual relationship with a student.
Leanne Macklin will make her first court appearance on August 25th. She faces five counts of sexual activity between school personnel and a student.
The court documents contain descriptions of a letter apparently written by Macklin to the victim. In the letter, Macklin writes "I was doomed from the moment I met you." It goes on to say "You made me feel needed and trusted and loved".
The documents describe the extent of the relationship between Macklin and her student at Weaver Academy. The victim told the detective that he and Macklin engaged in both oral and vaginal intercourse three to five times at Macklin's home.
