Property tax deduction for non-itemizers. Usually...we think of this only for people who itemize, but this is for those who don't. This could save singles $500 and married couples $1000. Look on line 6a on your Schedule A form.

you need to check box 7 on your 1099r...it needs to have a "g" there. if not...it could cost you thousands of dollars.
