April 29th: $.31 Ice Cream Cone . Today's deal of the day is sweet and cheap. Baskin Robbins is offering $.31 cones tonight from 5pm until 10pm. It's part of their "Scoop Up the Goodwill". Many stores will be taking donations for the National Volunteer Firefighters Council.

April 28th: FREE Dry Cleaning For The Unemployed. A Cleaner World is offering FREE dry cleaning services to the unemployed. Bring a current statement from the EOC. Men can get a suit and two dress shirts cleaned each week and ladies can get a suit and two blouses or two dresses cleaned free each week.

April 27th: Eat Healthy At KFC For FREE! The Deal of the Day comes from KFC....or should I say KGC. It's "unfry" day. Visit the colonel and get one free piece of grilled chicken. This deal is good for one piece per customer and the piece is manager's choice.

April 24: Free Cheese! Aside from hot dogs and apple pie, a grilled cheese sandwich is about as American as it gets. You can survive the economy by getting free cheese for your sandwich. Kraft Foods has declared April as National Grilled Cheese Month.

April 23: Free Cat Exams & A Free Workout Pet owners know how much vet bills can be. This deal of the day will help every cat owner survive the economy.

PetsMart will waive the exam fee for your cat on when you take your feline in for their shots or vaccines.
The exam times are tuesdays and thursdays from 2 to 3:30.

This next deal is for anyone who wants to work out for free. The Hayes Taylor YMCA is offering one free workout day to everyone today. The YMCA is open until 9 tonight. The Hayes Taylor Y is on Market Street, beside North Carolina A&T, 1101 E. Market Street, 272-2131.

April 22: Free Thank You Cards -- One way to make sure an employer remember you is to send a thank you card. Heirloom Photography in Reidsville is giving away a free 5-pack of Thank You cards everday for the unemployed. All you have to do is pay the postage! April 17th: 2 Deals-- Food & Fun For Free! Head to the Piedmont Triad Farmer's Market on Saturday. It's "Gourd Day" and from 9am to 3pm you can get a free packet of seeds and tips on how to grow your own...whether it's for food or crafts.
