Greensboro, NC-- Greensboro Police are searching for a man who shot a pizza delivery after trying to rob him.
The shooting happened around 7:30 Wednesday night at an apartment complex on Tillman St. The driver, Mujahid Ahmed, worked for Fox Pizza and Subs on East Bessemer Ave.
Officers at the crime scene told WFMY News 2, the driver came to an address on Tillman St to deliver a pizza. A male tried to robbed him but the driver refused to give him anything. The driver said the man then shot him.
The victim was able to drive himself back to work and they called police. Investigators say the driver is going to be okay. His gunshot was not life-threatening. EMS did transport him to the hospital for treatment.
Police K-9 Units were helping with the search. A possible suspect was found and taken into the police station for further questioning.
