A Mexican law firm is making divorce easier.

According to SpringWise.com, Abogados Postulantes en Sociedad is promoting their new online divorce service with the Libera Pass divorce gift card.

"We want to remove the label stuck on divorce as being complicated, bureaucratic and costly, and to make it as easy as going to a supermarket and buying a card," Arturo Ortiz, operations director of the Liberapass.com campaign, said in an interview with Spanish news agency EFE.

People can buy the cards for themselves or for a friend online or in the grocery store for 200 pesos ($15.70). Clients can have the amount of the gift card deducted from their final bill.

The card is only the start, and in order to move the online divorce proceedings along, clients have to create a user account that's credited with 5,000 pesos ($392) plus the VAT -- the cost of the express divorce service. After that, they must file a petition and along with other documentation. Finally they have to attend a family court hearing and wait for the divorce decree at home.

Their slogan is "Tu nuevo inicio" (Your New Start). The program started last month, and the four-step service takes three to four months on average to be completed. They offer clients a money back guarantee if their divorce isn't granted.
