New York, NY -- Celeste Holm, who starred in Broadway's Oklahoma! and won an Oscar for her role in Gentlemen's Agreement, has died at age 95.

Holm's great-niece, Amy Phillips, says she died early Sunday at her New York City apartment.

Her career lasted more than 50 years as she played numerous roles, including Ado Annie in Oklahoma!, a worldly theatrical agent in the 1991 comedy I Hate Hamlet, and roles in Fantasy Island and Love Boat II.

Holm won the Academy Award for best supporting actress for her performance in Gentlemen's Agreement in 1947. She was nominated for an Oscar for Come to the Stable in 1949 and All About Eve the next year.
