Caracas, Venezuela -- Venezuelan authorities have turned over a prominent Colombian drug trafficking suspect to face justice in his homeland.
Colombian officials consider Daniel Barrera one of the country's most-wanted drug lords.
He was handcuffed on Wednesday as he was led to a waiting plane at Caracas' international airport.
Venezuelan Justice Minister Nestor Reverol said Barrera had a false passport when he was captured in September in the city of San Cristobal in southwestern Venezuela.
Barrera is known as "El Loco," or "The Madman."
