(Sioux Falls, SD) -- Heavy snow and icy conditions forced officials in South Dakota to close Interstate 29 Sunday.
But just because the road is closed doesn't mean people will stop using it--even by accident.
Watch as a semi slams into the "Road Closed" gate on I-29 in Sioux Falls.
The driver was going too fast and the road was too slcik to be able to stop in time.
South Dakota got its first heavy snowfall of the season yesterday, with as much as nine inches of snow reported in Brookings.
Forecasters say high winds accompanying the snow shoudl die down later this evening.
