Lexington, KY-- The cold weather mixing with moisture across the southeast is causing dangerous conditions.
Most states along the eastern seaboard saw some wintry weather mixed with Ice-covered roads Friday morning.
A Lexington fire truck overturned in Kentucky while en route to several wrecks caused by slick conditions Friday morning on interstates 64 and 75 in Fayette County, an official said. The roads were described as dangerous for several miles.
Battalion Chief Joe Best said the fire truck flipped onto its side on westbound I-64.
"My understanding is that road conditions are pretty slick," Best said. "It's pretty bad out there in a four-mile stretch."
