Houston, TX -- A convicted sex offender has been arrested in Texas for allegedly trying to meet a teenage girl for sex.

The 15-year-old girl told her mother she had been talking to Stanley Haney on Facebook.

Her mother called the Montgomery County Constable's Office and they set up a sting.

Transcript:

Constable: Are you Stanley?

Haney: Yes sir.

Constable: Ok. Stanley Haney?

Haney: Yes sir.

Constable: I hear you've got a date tonight.

Haney: No.

Constable: You know anything about that?

Haney: No sir.

Constable: What are you doing here?

Haney: Coming to get a drink.

Constable: Coming to get a drink?

Haney: Yes sir then I'm going down to the fishing hole.

Constable: Oh, okay, well I was supposed to go with you. I'm the young lady you've been talking to on Facebook.

In 2000, Haney was convicted of indecency with a seven-year-old girl.
