A CNN poll revealed various age groups feel differently when it comes to security versus privacy.
The poll was taken two weeks after the Boston Marathon Bombing. It revealed out of those surveyed only half of those who participated did not agree with giving up some of their civil liberties in an effort to stop terrorism.
However, 40% did agree to give up some of their civil liberties but it was different by age group. According to the CNN poll, a third of Americans under age 50 would give up some freedoms but the number jumped to half when asked the same question to those who over the age of 50.
