Phoenix, AZ -- We all know "die-hard football fans", but one Phoenix Cardinals supporter gives new meaning to the phrase.
That's because attending the Cardinal's playoff game last week actually saved his life.
Waldo Salazar has a ritual of going into a bedroom and watching Cardinals games alone and uninterrupted. But last week, he went to his first Cardinals game ever. At the game, Salazar had a heart attack in the stands, and says if he'd been at home, he would've died. "It's divine intervention. Who knows how long it would have been before I found him."
Now, Salazar is feeling good and looking forward to getting to another game next year.
