New York -- A Japanese produced video game has one council woman speaking out.
Christine Quinn, NYC council speaker, is furious about a video game that she says gives players points for the number of women they rape and abuse.
"You can not take rape or sexual assault and package it into a game. it is a violent crime which destroys women's lives," says Quinn.
Her main goal is to stop the video game, called 'Rape-Lay' from being sold in the United States. Online stores such as Amazon have already stopped selling the game, but it still available on other web sites for close to $100.
Quinn insists she is not promoting censorship, just asking people not to buy the game.
