New York, NY -- For about a half-million dollars, you might be able to own one of Buddy Holly's guitars. His Gibson J-45 has leatherwork with his name on the front. The guitar is being auctioned off in two-and-a-half weeks along with a lot of other music-related stuff.

A Waylon Jennings Fender guitar is expected to get anywhere from $80,000 to $120,000. A guitar owned by Hank Williams and one owned by Johnny Cash are up for bid. Stage outfits are being auctioned off, some of them created by famous country designer, Nudie Cohen, and worn by Roy Rogers, Hank Snow and Hank Thompson.

These items and more are from Hank Thompson's estate. They'll be auctioned off at Christies New York on December 3. Details are at www.christies.com
