St. Louis, MO-- A special homeless boy's dream will come true.
Mack Robertson helped break ground Tuesday morning to transform a parking lot into a backyard he has always wanted. It will have a hands-on garden and a track for go-carts.
The Gateway180 and others raised $90,000 for the project.
Last year, the organization interviewed children at the shelter about what the hardest thing was about being homeless.
Mack responded, "not having a backyard."
His backyard will be complete this fall.
