"Freeganism" Recycled Food From Garbage, An Answer To Food Waste

Spain-- Food is something no living person, or animal can live without. It's also one of the most wasted necessities in our daily lives.

Food waste comes in many forms, but mostly from the expiration date. If the date says it's old, most of us throw it out and by American laws food establishments have too.

A city in Spain thinks it may have an answer to out-of-date food waste...serve it up!

Surprising, the idea comes from an American concept and movement. A movement from the 1990s known as "freeganism".
