Lee County, FL -- A Florida teenager who lost his arm to an alligator last week is resting at home.
An alligator bit off Kaleb "Fred" Langdale's right arm nearly a week ago, when he was swimming in the Caloosahtchee River near his Moore Haven home last Monday.
Now the teen who never liked the spotlight, walked out of Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers on Sunday like a celebrity.
Langdale's positive and relentless attitude will now help him to heal. The self-proclaimed outdoorsman says he just wants to get back to the life he loves.
