Former "Downton Abbey" star Jessica Brown Findlay says she regrets going topless in the 2011 movie "Albatross," saying she was naive to do nudity.
The British actress told the magazine Radio Times, "To be honest, 'Albatross' was naivety and not knowing that I could say no. I had no idea what was going to happen and thought I was going to be shot from behind."
In the movie, Brown Findlay plays a teenager who has an affair with an older man. In one scene, she flashes a store clerk when he cards her for buying cigarettes.
But despite saying she regrets doing nudity two years ago, she will shed clothes in "Labyrinth," an upcoming British television drama.
She told the magazine, however, that she will never strip on camera again.
The 23-year-old actress also believes that too much nudity is not "honest and natural."
"I think if you're going to do a nude scene, be honest and natural. Otherwise I'd be starving myself for ever, which I just couldn't do! The idea that actresses would work out at the gym for a thousand hours beforehand. ... I was drinking pints (of beer) and eating burgers. But actually, it's not something I would do again," she said.
Findlay Brown next will appear in the U.S. in Winter's Tale, which stars Russell Crowe and Will Smith.
