The Chipotle Mexican Grill chain has recently come clean admitting some of its products are genetically modified, according to CNN.
Some of its dishes including chicken and steak tortillas has got genetically-modified organisms meaning it its natural content has been altered in some way. There's a concern over its use of soybean oil with some nutritionists because of possible health risks. However according to CNN, a spokesperson said it recently it switched from using soybean-oil to now sunflower oil to make taco shells and chips.
A Chipotle spokesperson also said the Food Industry in America is dominated by artificially-processed ingredients. You can tell if a food item has been genetically-modified by looking for a "G" next to its ingredients according to Chipotle's website.
