Greensboro, NC -- On Sunday, November 8th, some of North Carolina's most talented musicians will be coming together to support one of their own.

Snuzzfest West will be at The Blind Tiger in Greensboro on Sunday, November 8th at 7pm. The night will feature members of some of the biggest bands in NC music history, all performing their own renditions of Snuzz's music. The evening will also bear witness to reunions of some of Snuzz's old bands, Big Kids and Bus Stop, as well as a performance by his current band, The Numbers.

Britt "Snuzz" Uzzell was diagnosed with Waldenstrom's Macroglobulnemia (a Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma) in July of this year. He has been a professional musician for more than 20 years, and does not have health insurance. He will be receiving financial assistance from the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System Foundation. The proceeds of Sunday's show will go to benefit the Cancer Special Needs Fund, established by
SRHSF in 2005 to help relieve the burdens of everyday expenses that often go unpaid when the uninsured face serious illnesses.

Members of the following bands are scheduled to perform throughout the night:

Athenaeum
Squirrel Nut Zippers
Ben Folds Five
Hobex
Jeff Hart & The Ruins
Simeon
Big Bang Boom
Kudzu Wish
The Jackets
Walrus
Decoration Ghost
The Popovers
The Desmonds
Tres Chicas
The Hall Monitors

...and many many more!

There is a $10 suggested donation at the door, all going to the Cancer Special Needs Fund.
