Greensboro, NC - Every week, 2 Wants To Know Restaurant Report Card showcases the most recent top and bottom scores of restaurants in the Triad, and you can also find the scores on your own.
Each county health department in North Carolina posts the weekly restaurant inspections on their websites.
The inspections are done by the Division of Environmental Health. You can find those links in the Restaurant Report Card section of digtriad.com.
When you click on a county, you can click on any restaurant name and get the most recent inspection score. It is was docked points, you can read the inspection report to find out why.
Sandy Ellington, a health educator with the Guilford County Health Department, said people should also keep an eye out for the sanitation grade when they walk into a restaurant.
The sanitation grade should be posted right beside the cash register. Ellington said, that's a pretty good indication of whether you want to eat there!
If any employees at a restaurant have had their "Safeserv" certification, the certificate should be posted right beside the sanitation grade.
