(Winston Salem, NC) -- This morning at approximately 8:17, several people were involved in a multi-car accident, including a Winston Salem police car.
Wayne Coy Wilmoth was driving his 1967 Plymouth Barracuda west on Silas Creek Parkway and entered into the intersection at Peters Creek Parkway while the light was red in his direction.
A 2004 Ford Crown Victoria, being driven by Mr. Lee Clifton, was hit as it was traveling south on Peters Creek Parkway, which collided with Officer J. R. Wray's assigned patrol vehicle (#1175), also traveling south on Peters Creek Parkway.
Officer Wray's patrol vehicle then collided with Mr. Jeffrey Foster's vehicle (2000 Volvo), that was also traveling south on Peters Creek Parkway.
All four drivers reported no injuries and refused EMS services.
