Greensboro, NC--Hundreds of Guilford County students who were part of the districts Service Learning Program together one last time to celebrate their accomplishments.
The thought behind the Cool to Serve event is intelligence plus character that is the goal of true education. And for that that students who volunteers at least 75 hours got the chance to win IPOD shuffle, Nano,, Touch and IPAD's and the chance to unlock and win a 2012 Honda Civic.
And the big winner of the cars was Sarah Adoeid of, Grimsley High. Sarah said she thought the key didn't work, she pushed it all the way in. and when she did the alarm went off and she was the big winner.
Sarah volunteers at the pool, and tutoring at the youth center.
Sarah still plans to continue volunteering , now that she doesn't have to depend on Mom for ride anymore.
