Winston-Salem, NC -- Fire investigators say a building fire at 635 Vine Rd. was started accidentally.
There was a large amount of smoke spewing from a second-story window when firefighters arrived right before 10 p.m.
Investigators say the fire started when employees were using a blow torch to cut metal near a tobacco bin. The bin caught fire, burned, and the fire spread.
Crews put out the fire around 10:20 p.m. and issued a stop work order.
The building is now scheduled for renovation.
