There's nothing like celebrating your birthday and inviting a few friends for the "private" occasion.

However, in the digital era invites are mostly done via social media and forgetting to check one box, like "private" can have some unforgettable consequences.

That is what police said happened when a Dutch teenager forgot to mark her birthday party 'private' on Facebook.

They believe at least 3,000 showed up which lead to the family being evacuated and a riot.

The crowd got out of control and starting rioting and throwing things. At least 6 were injured and as many as 20 were arrested.
