(Greensboro, NC) -- On September 28, 2012 at 9:34 a.m., Greensboro Police responded to a report of a robbery at BB&T Bank at 201 West Market Street.
The suspect demanded money from a teller and ran away on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries reported.
A Greensboro police officer observed a man matching the suspect description running from Center City Park and coordinated for additional officers to assist with the pursuit. The suspect was taken into custody at Festival Park within ten minutes of the robbery.
A search of the suspect disclosed sufficient evidence to charge Clifton Farrell Perry, 52, of 1817-A Evans Drive with Common Law Robbery.
