Athens, Greece -- An opinion poll in Greece says an anti-bailout leftist party has extended its lead over Prime Minister Antonis Samaras' conservatives, while support for a far right party with strong neo-Nazi references has doubled since June's national election.

The far-rightists have thrived on the financial crisis and an influx of illegal immigrants, whom their deputies openly call "sub-humans."

The VPRC survey published Friday gave the main opposition Radical Left Coalition a 30.5 percent rating. Samaras' New Democracy party, which heads a three-party coalition government, followed with 27 percent.

The far right Golden Dawn party, which emerged from the margins to win 7 percent in June, came third at 14 percent -- from 12 percent last month.

The poll in the Greece Tomorrow newspaper gave a maximum 3.2 percent margin of error.
