According to the latest census number, Lexington's population is only 18, 912 people. The festival is expected to bring 125,000+ to town for the one day event.
And, you know it's the barbecue festival when you see pigs made of sand. Yes, the annual pig sand sculpture will be there for all to enjoy.
WFMY News 2's Mark Franklin hung out with the sculptors as they completed their masterpiece for the 2012 festival.
