Surry County, NC -- Police said a man died after crashing into a downed tree caused by Hurricane Sandy on Monday.
Jody Alan Davis, 25, was driving alone on Prison Camp Road in Dobson when he struck the tree at 6:50pm. He was pronounced dead at 7:46pm at Northern Hospital.
