New York, NY -- A dollar doesn't go as far as it used to -- at least not at Wendy's. The fast-food chain is doing away with its 99-cent value menu.
Instead of a variety of menu items priced at just under a dollar, Wendy's is offering options called "Right Price Right Size. Those items range in price from $0.99 to $1.99. Wendy's was the last of the big fast-food chains to hold on to the $1 pricing model.
Burger King and McDonald's have already inched their prices past the $1 price point.
