Greensboro--The upper-level disturbance that brought light rain to the area over night has moved east of the area. Now our weather is set to improve.
Although we will see some sunshine mix with clouds this afternoon, the sky will not completely clear until a cold front moves through the Piedmont late today.
As high high pressure builds over the area Monday and Tuesday, we will enjoy lots of sunshine and seasonal temperatures as high will be around 50.
The high pressure system will move off the East Coast by Wednesday. As surface winds turn to the southwest, we can expect milder temperatures Wednesday through Saturday. It is possible that it could warm to near 60 degrees by Friday and Saturday.
A system could bring a chance of rain Thursday. At this point, it is unclear how strong or what track this system will take.
