Oak Island, NC -- A commercial fisherman died after his clothing got caught on a fishing reel and he was slammed to the ground, according to the Associated Press.
Jeremy Myers' uncle found his body on a boat off Oak Island after he tried to call his nephew's cell phone and didn't get an answer.
Thirty-four-year-old Myers' body was found wrapped in the boat's netting, with his head pinned against the box where fish are stored.
Investigators are waiting on an autopsy, but they say they think the death was an accident.
Authorities believe Myers was on the boat alone at the time of the accident.
