Greensboro, NC - Purchasing a "20X The Money" scratch-off lottery ticket meant winning the $1 million prize for a Greensboro woman.
Cameron Carlton purchased a winning ticket from the Quick Shop Gas Stop on High Point Rd.
Carlton claimed her winnings Tuesday. The NC Education Lottery said that she chose not to accept 20 annual payments of $50,000 and instead chose the $600,000 cash option. A lottery spokesperson said the prize was valued at $408,003 after taxes.
The "20X The Money" game started May 16, 2012. There are three more unclaimed top prizes.
