Saulsalito, CA -- The hunt for internships can be tough with thousands of qualified applicants competing for the same, highly coveted jobs to put on their resumes.
It's hard enough just finding an internship, but finding one that pays well seems to be impossible.
Well, Glassdoor, a jobs and career community, put together a list of the nation's highest-paying internships. The group compiled the list based on the highest average monthly base pay reported by recent interns.
First on the list is VMware, who pays its interns more than $6,700 per month. Rounding out the top five are eBay, Exxon Mobil, Facebook and Google.
