Greensboro--High pressure will bring lots of sunshine to the Piedmont today and Monday. Temperatures will remain on the chilly side with highs today and Monday in the mid and upper 40's.
Enjoy the sun and dry weather because changes are headed our way for Tuesday and Wednesday. Low pressure will track out of the Southern Plains and move our way. Clouds will increase Monday night and Tuesday morning. Rain will arrive Tuesday afternoon. A cold rain is likely Tuesday night.
The storm is expected to redevelop over Eastern North Carolina Tuesday night. This will help pull colder air into the area by Wednesday morning. Rain rain is expected to mix with and even change to snow showers sometime on Wednesday before ending later in the afternoon.
At this time we are not calling for any accumulation of snow. However stay tuned and we will keep you updated on the snow chances for Wednesday.
Thursday and Friday will be mostly sunny with a high of 47 on Thursday and 53 on Friday.
Our normal high os 57, and out normal low is 36.
